Backlinks are considered to be common ranking factor but how do we know which links are best and which are not. It’s simple. Quality over quantity.
I travel to sydney nearly every day to create websites and write their content for seo. In my work schedule where I facilitate clients that need seo in sydney I manage to do a number of backlinks per day on high authority websites, everyday I aim to do at least 10 and never more than 15.

There would have to be another system which is why for now and the very far future we can depend on backlinks to make our day or completely ruin them. I wouldn’t exactly listen to everything that Matt Cutt’s advised against backlinks, because his job is to partly scare spammers away.
It’s the google search architects that work behind the scenes that we should worry about when it comes to our precious backlinks.

If my clients came to me and told me they had purchased ten thousand backlinks off some dodgy website in an effort to speed up their rankings I think I would laugh and cry at the same time.
Cry: All of my hard work for you and your customer is gone and now you’re going to blame me for not being able to fix it.

The big fish get bigger and the small fish get bigger. It’s just a matter of how much time you want to invest in your content and how much money or effort you are willing to put into to try and get those backlinks.
An easy way to get a high domain authority backlink is to write about something that you are passionate about and over time as you get notice, people will become completely inspired by your content and begin sharing it.
